Great resource for anyone looking to improve their relationship with food

This book was a required text for a mindful eating course I took in graduate school, and I have used it in practice many times since. It is a well-thought out resource that provides a helpful guide for therapists and individuals alike. Dr. Albers provides a clear description of mindful eating as well as specific strategies to improve one's relationship with food and eating. As a practitioner I find that the tools in this book are very helpful for clients with a variety of eating disorders. The activities throughout the book are practical and allow for quick application of the concepts presented. Great resource!

Very holistic and helpful!

I really liked this product and would recommend it. The author has clearly spent a long time researching and working with mindless eating.

The best part of the book is the background it provides - I really loved that we weren't just reading about mindlessness in food, but in all aspects of life. Makes it much more holistic. Also inspired me to pick up books on mindfulness in all parts of my life!

This book is literally life changing. It helps change the way you view food and eating I general. With no "diets", just by implementing the changes outlined in this book my entire family has lost weight and developed healthy habits. I cannot recommend this book enough!!!
